I am a local professional seamstress and an expert in all areas of clothes making, clothing alteration/repairs and soft furnishings, with over 35 years of experience in my line of work.
I offer a personal service; home visits and evening appointments can be arranged upon request.
Alterations
From special occasions (weddings, prom dresses, tuxedos/mens' suits) to daywear (including relining coats, shortening/lengthening hems, replacing zips and buttons), I can alter and mend clothing to suit all shapes and sizes.
Curtains & Soft Furnishings

I can make new curtains to fit, from measuring to hanging. Should you move home, I am also able to alter your existing curtains to fit new windows, where possible. I cater for all budgets, and can also make adjustments to ready-made curtains. Relining option if required. Matching accessories (e.g. tie-backs, cushions, antimacassars, armrest covers), as well as cushions for garden furniture can also be made or repaired.
Special Occasions
Fittings for weddings (bride and bridesmaids), replacement and mending of beadwork & sequins, fittings for Proms and Balls.
