About Me

I have lived in Sussex all my life and started my working life at 16 as a sample machinist with Kayser Bondor in Portslade. There I learnt to be a perfectionist, working alongside underwear and swimwear designers, making samples and prototypes of garments to be sold in the likes of Marks & Spencer's and British Home Stores.

When that company was taken over in the late 1980s, I found employment in Henfield as a dressmaker, where I stayed for a couple of years. Whilst raising a family, I decided to become self-employed, and have enjoyed working from home ever since. I love the variety of my work, the range of people I meet, and take great satisfaction in making a difference to people's lives through what I do.
